I know that I'm not the only mom who get frustrated with her kids and their yelling at or scolding each other. As my husband says, if you want to know what kind of parent you are, just watch how your older child treats your younger child. I second that statement with a very heartfelt "amen". Every day, I hear Hudson telling Claire, "We don't do that!" or sternly and firmly saying, "Claaaaire!" Then I hear Claire shout back or see her give him the "stink eye". But in the midst of these are times when he stops parenting her and she quits sassing him. And the world becomes a happy, beanbag-sharing, cuddly place. Cue frustration melting away:
Now if you'll excuse me, I think I hear my kids fighting upstairs.
