VEHICULAR LOVE: ONE ADDITION TO THE LIST

I got a call from my sister on Sunday afternoon. Like me, she has an '03 Ford Expedition and absolutely loves it. And she gave me another reason to love our vehicles...

While in the city on Saturday (San Francisco to you non-Bay Area folk...never San Fran or Frisco!), her Expedition was in a fender bender of sorts. Our dad was behind the wheel and in the process of parallel parking when a jam-packed cable car started coming down the hill. It kept coming down the hill and failed to stop in time. Totally beaned my sister's car. But lo and behold, the beast is fine. It stood it's ground, not budging or allowing itself to be pushed into either of the cars at its front and rear. The damage? There is a white mark on the rim above the wheel well (which should buff out) and a couple of small dents/pieces missing on the rim itself. Not too shabby!

In short, to add to the list of reasons why Expeditions rock: They can get in an accident with a loaded cable car and come out with almost zero damage.
